| Skills and Accomplishments: |
• Teaching: BS MS and PhD courses in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Design, and other related disciplines (lecturing experience includes over 40 courses taught at Tehran University, UC Berkeley, UCLA and elsewhere).
• Special/Industrial Training: Experience in designing/conducting special courses/curricula for the Ministries of Post Telegraph and Telephone, Energy, Industry, as well as Bank Melli Iran, Bank Mellat, Iran Railway Development Consultants, National Iranian Industries Organization, UNDP, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Yerevan Physics Institute, University of Kassel, University of Gottingen, American University of Armenia, etc.
• Research: Recipient of several industrial/public grants for various funded research projects conducted in Iran, USA, Canada, and elsewhere; Holder of patent number 24671 (24 8 1371) for HNN Speech Recognition System; Supervisorship of over100 thesis and dissertation projects, and numerous technical reports and white papers; Publication of over 1000 papers and invited lectures in various journals and conferences; Founding/Reorganization of several research Institutes/Departments/COEs in various industrial and academic settings.
• System Development/Design: Requirement Analysis, Modelling, Design, Evaluation, Restructuring, Reengineering, Business Intelligence, Collaboration, Information Systems, Knowledge Engineering, and CRM; Restructuring projects in Telecommunication, Power and Banking industries.
