* SC-FDMA is the transmission scheme adopted by LTE advanced for uplink transmission in fourth generation cellular systems. To grasp the idea of  SC-FDMA, you can refer to this paper.

 

 

 

Biography

Maryam Sabbaghian received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, and the Ph.D. degree from Carleton University, Ottawa, ON, Canada, all in electrical engineering. During 2008-2010 she was with School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University as a postdoctoral fellow. In 2010, she joined School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Tehran, Iran.

 

She received certificate of “excellence in teaching” from Harvard University in Spring 2010. She is also the recipient of Natural Sciences and Engineering Council (NSERC) of Canada postdoctoral fellowship, Ontario Graduate scholarship, NSERC eMPOWER scholarship, Gabriel David Warshaw Memorial scholarship, and Nortel scholarship.

 

She is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE). She served as a member of Technical Program Committee in IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference (GlobeCom) 2010, 2012, and 2013, 2014, 2015 and Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC) 2014, 2015, 2016 and International Conference  on Communications (ICC) 2016.
