The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), initiated in 1934, now offers undergraduate, masters, and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Information Technology. There are more than 2000 declared students in the programs and 82 faculty members. Undergraduate students have a variety of opportunities to do practice and research in different educational and research laboratories in the department.
The students engage in the following specialties: Electronics, Power, Communications, Machine Learning and Robotics, Control, Bio-Electronics, Software, Hardware, and Information Technology.
Both undergraduate and graduate programs are consistently rated as the leading programs in the country. Our students associate with world-class faculty who are actively engaged in research. The School of ECE faculties earn teaching ratings that are among the best in the College of Engineering,and in the University of Tehran.
