PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM
Students who applied successfully in this program come to Rostock/Germany
for working on their M.Sc thesis, advised both by their Iranian supervisor
and an appropriate German professor. Students receive EUR 750 per month
(990 US$) over the period of 8 months, as well as their travel expenses
from Iran to Germany and back.
The professors of the University of Rostock have prepared several M.Sc
topics esp. for this program. You can find all topics in the PDF documents
attached to this e-mail.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Students who want to apply for this program have to be working on their
M.Sc right now.
A successful application consists of the following documents:
- Letter with motivation description (why do you want to participate in
this program?) - Abstract of your thesis
- Transcript of Records (grades achieved in your master study until now) -
Letter of recommendation from your Iranian suppervisor
- TOEFL or similar certification in English skills
- CV
Interested students should contact the desired German professors directly
and refer to this program. The PDF documents contain the e-mail addresses
of the professors.
This program is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
DAAD is especially interested in granting scholarships to female students.
Thus, please inform all female and male students about this program.

IMPORTANT DATES:
- Send your application documents via e-mail to a German professor, or to
me, not later than 31.01.2011 (11. Bahman 1389). - Successful students
will be informed as soon as possible and all necessary organizational
steps (visa, dormitory etc.) will be taken care of - Students should
arrive in Rostock not later than 30.04.2011 (10. Ordibehescht 1390).
