University of Tehran Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder that greatly affects the life of the children with autism and their family. The early screening of this disorder is important in the therapy of autism, in allowing these children to be able to have independent life, and to reduce the pressure on these children's families and the country's health system. |
Thus, the comprehensive intelligent autism screening system started last year at the school of ECE, University of Tehran. This project is sponsored by the Cognitive Sciences and Technologies Council of Iran in order to better deal with this neurodevelopmental disorder. This system consists of several individual screening systems that have been developed over several years at the school of ECE. The combination of these systems would allow better screening with higher confidence. The first version of the system has already been built and tested and the 2nd version is in development cycle.
