Mehran Alidoost Nia is currently a PhD candidate in DRTS (Dependable/Distributed Real-Time Systems) Lab at University of Tehran. His main research area is about Analysis of Cyber Physical Systems, Probabilistic Verification, Self-Adaptive Systems, and Computer Security. His research in PhD program is about probabilistic analysis of self-adaptive and autonomous systems entitled “Runtime Probabilistic Analysis of Self-Adaptive Systems via Formal Approximation Techniques”, that is supervised under supervison of Prof. Mehdi Kargahi (University of Tehran) and Prof. Alessandro Abate (University of Oxford). He is also a Programme Fellow at the University of York, and collaborating on Assuring Autonomy International Programme (AAIP) under supervison of Prof. Radu Calinescu as part of his PhD thesis since 2020.
