Department of Biochemistry

The department of Biochemistry was founded officially in 2002. The Department is active in a wide range of disciplines including cell signaling, chromatin ..., nervous systems ..., enzymology, and modeling of biological systems, peptide science, crystallography, apoptosis, and molecular biology. Well-equipped laboratories are provided for researchers and students. The postgraduate program offers a flexible curriculum of exciting courses related to these fields, taking advantage of the resources available at University of Tehran. Faculty members and students in this department also have joint programs with international research groups outside Iran.
