چکیده:

Due to great improvements in the industry, most of today's manufactured products are highly-reliable and function for a long time. Consequently, the failure data which are the key components of reliability assessment are rare or even none. A promising way for reliability modeling of such systems is to make use of degradation signals that reflect the health conditions of a product. During the last two decades, a number of degradation models have been developed to capture the degradation dynamics of a system and aid the subsequent decision-making. Among them, the stochastic process model is more desirable due to its ability to capture the time dependency structure of data and deal with the randomness of the environment. The main contribution of the current thesis is to study some common issues in the reliability such as burn-in tests, the optimal plans of accelerated degradation tests and maintenance policies
