Responsibilities

The financial and administrative deputy of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering was established in 2003. This deputy is in charge of organizing and managing all the administrative and financial affairs of the faculty. The subdivisions of this deputy include the parts of handling and renovation of educational laboratories and some research areas, computer center, administrative and support affairs (public affairs), accounting and administration. Due to the large area of the faculty located in the central campus and the large number of students, as well as to achieve the strategic prospects of the faculty until 2025, this deputy has several responsibilities, the most important of which are:

- Holding regular monthly meetings with the financial and administrative deputy of College of Engineering in supervising and better performing financial responsibilities related to the Faculty of Chemical Engineering

-  Planning for crucial affairs and balanced development of different sections

- Managing existing financial resources and creating sustainable financial ones with the goals of the strategic plan of the faculty

-  Management of personnel affairs and promotion of organizational productivity and matters of recruitment and employment of staff and military command staff within the framework of University and College of Engineering criteria in the rules set for the Faculty of Chemical Engineering

-  Presenting the annual performance report of all the activities of the financial and administrative department of the faculty to the College of Engineering

-  Managing all purchases and expenditures, auditing and budgeting of financial resources and preservation of faculty facilities.

-  Establish a Health, Safety and Environment Program (HSE) and monitor its proper implementation

-  Creating a convenient platform for developing cooperation with large industrial companies and labor market activists in order to make better connection between the industry and the Faculty of Chemical Engineering

- Organizing and providing financial resources for holding exhibitions, conferences, gatherings and celebrations in the faculty

-   Supporting and meeting the needs of the faculty, such as educational facilities and research infrastructure, facilities and repairs, and environmental health

- Executive Board Members: Dean (Dr. Reza Zarghami), financial and administrative deputy (Dr. Payam Zahedi), Educational and Post-graduation deputy (Dr. Zahra Mansourpour) and Research deputy (Dr. Omid Tavakoli)
