Bio-Electric

Bio-electric engineering is a juncture of electrical engineering and living systems. It deals with understanding and modeling of electrical phenomena occurring in living systems to develop bio-inspired methods and artificial systems. It also deals with extension of electrical engineering concepts and methods to develop equipment and software that solve specific problems related to living systems. Department of bio-electric has 6 faculty members and 6 research labs. The current research areas in this department include:

  • Medical Imaging and Analysis
  • Medical Informatics
